Add datasets

Create production data replicas for accurate testing in your environments

You can add Instant Datasets to your account so that your environments can access seed data to simulate a production environment. This feature is available to Professional accounts.

Refer to the detailed Instant Datasets page for more information on how to set up and configure an Instant Dataset.

To add a dataset, click on the Datasets tab to navigate to the Instant Datasets page.

Click on the Create Dataset button to open a modal form to fill out. Release will provide the available clusters and snapshots you can pick from.

Give your database a name and create a user password, then click Create Dataset.

Your dataset will now be visible in the Datasets view. It will show "Pending" until the RDS instances are available.
