Configure Namecheap

If you bought your domain name through Namecheap, you can still use your domain with Release.

In Release, add your domain

To add your domain to Release, follow the steps to create a domain. Take note of the nameservers displayed by Release, as you'll use these in the next steps.

In Namecheap, update your nameservers

Log in to your Namecheap account, click on Domain List in the sidebar, then click on Manage next to the domain you'd like to update.

1. Select Custom DNS from the Nameservers dropdown.

2. Add all the nameservers you see in your Release control panel after adding the domain there. Press the "Add Nameserver" link to create additional fields.

3. Click the check mark icon to save your changes.
